1. The service
Amavio is a personal organization and general educational tool for animal owners. It can store pet profiles and records locally, schedule reminders, help organize routines, create user-directed exports, and provide general informational guidance.
Amavio is not a veterinarian, emergency service, diagnostic device, pharmacy, or substitute for professional veterinary judgment. It does not diagnose, prescribe, calculate medication doses, or guarantee a health outcome.
2. Emergencies and professional care
If an animal may be experiencing an emergency, contact a veterinarian or local emergency veterinary service immediately. Do not delay professional care while waiting for or relying on information from Amavio. Examples of urgent concerns can include difficulty breathing, collapse, uncontrolled bleeding, seizures, suspected poisoning, severe trauma, or rapidly worsening symptoms.
3. Information and AI limitations
Care information and generated responses may be incomplete, outdated, inappropriate for a particular species or individual animal, or simply wrong. AI output can vary. You are responsible for checking important information with a qualified veterinarian and for considering your animal's species, age, health, medication, and circumstances before acting.
4. Medication and treatment
Use Amavio's reminder and record features only to follow instructions already provided by a qualified veterinarian or product manufacturer. Do not use the app to select a medication, alter a prescribed treatment, or determine a dose.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and keep important records current.
- Maintain your device security and appropriate backups.
- Verify reminders, exports, and dates before relying on them.
- Use the app lawfully and only for animals under your care or with authorization.
- Do not attempt to misuse, reverse engineer, disrupt, or falsely represent the service.
6. Price and purchase
Amavio is offered as a one-time US App Store purchase of $1.99, with corresponding local storefront prices displayed by Apple. There is no recurring Amavio subscription. Purchases, billing, taxes, refunds, and family-sharing availability are handled under Apple's applicable App Store terms and storefront rules.
7. Availability
Some features depend on device hardware, operating-system version, Apple Intelligence availability, permissions, and third-party system services. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain safety, compatibility, or legal compliance.
8. Your content
You retain rights in the photos, documents, and notes you add. You grant Amavio only the device-local permission needed to process and display that content for features you request. You are responsible for having the right to use and share any content you add or export.
9. Intellectual property
The Amavio name, icon, interface, website, original graphics, text, and software are owned by Nawa Europe or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Amavio is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nawa Europe is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of or inability to use Amavio, including reliance on reminders, records, or generated information. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Apple terms
If you download Amavio from Apple's App Store, your use is also subject to Apple's applicable terms. Apple is not responsible for Amavio's maintenance, support, or content except as required by applicable App Store terms.
