1. The service
Amavio is a personal organization and general educational tool for animal owners. It can suggest an animal family and possible breed or type from a user-selected photo, store profiles, diary memories, and records locally, schedule reminders, help organize routines, create user-directed exports, and provide general informational guidance.
Amavio is not a veterinarian, emergency service, diagnostic device, pharmacy, or substitute for professional veterinary judgment. It does not diagnose, prescribe, calculate medication doses, or guarantee a health outcome.
2. Emergencies and professional care
If an animal may be experiencing an emergency, contact a veterinarian or local emergency veterinary service immediately. Do not delay professional care while waiting for or relying on information from Amavio. Examples of urgent concerns can include difficulty breathing, collapse, uncontrolled bleeding, seizures, suspected poisoning, severe trauma, or rapidly worsening symptoms.
3. Recognition, information, and AI limitations
Visual recognition is an appearance-based suggestion, not proof of pedigree, mixed ancestry, species in every case, age, sex, health, or temperament. Lighting, angle, grooming, life stage, mixed ancestry, and similar-looking animals can affect the result. You must review and correct the suggestion before relying on the resulting care path.
Care Intelligence scores and signals organize owner-entered observations, routines, and records. They are not a diagnosis, clinical prediction, medical-device output, or substitute for professional examination. Care information and generated responses may be incomplete, outdated, inappropriate for a particular species or individual animal, or simply wrong. AI output can vary. You are responsible for checking important information with a qualified veterinarian and for considering your animal's confirmed species, age, health, medication, and circumstances before acting.
4. Medication and treatment
Use Amavio's reminder and record features only to follow instructions already provided by a qualified veterinarian or product manufacturer. Do not use the app to select a medication, alter a prescribed treatment, or determine a dose.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and keep important records current.
- Maintain your device security and appropriate backups.
- Verify reminders, exports, and dates before relying on them.
- Use the app lawfully and only for animals under your care or with authorization.
- Do not attempt to misuse, reverse engineer, disrupt, or falsely represent the service.
6. Price and download
Amavio is offered as a one-time paid App Store download, currently USD 1.99 in the United States and the localized equivalent shown by Apple in other storefronts. The consumer app has no recurring subscription or in-app purchase. Apple controls payment, taxes, refunds, distribution, availability, and family-sharing support under the applicable App Store terms and storefront rules.
7. Partner recommendations and sellers
Amavio may display clearly labelled sponsored, affiliate, or editorial recommendations. Relevance is calculated locally from the pet profile and care goals stored on your device. Placement is not veterinary endorsement, certification, or a guarantee that a product is appropriate, available, licensed, insured, or the lowest-priced option. Review product information and obtain professional advice when appropriate.
The named seller or supplier—not Amavio—sets the product price, confirms direct order requests, handles payment, fulfils orders, provides returns and warranties, and is responsible for product claims and customer service. Amavio may receive a commercial benefit from a labelled placement without changing the price shown by the seller.
8. Partner Hub
Supplier and publisher accounts are business accounts subject to approval. Partners must submit accurate company, product, pricing, destination, imagery, disclosure, and campaign information; hold all required rights and authorizations; avoid misleading or unsafe animal-health claims; and comply with applicable consumer, advertising, insurance, product, and data-protection laws. Amavio may approve, reject, archive, suspend, or remove content or access.
Partner subscription requests do not create automatic card charges. Pricing and commercial terms remain subject to separate owner confirmation until an online payment processor is expressly introduced.
9. Insurance early access
Global Pet Health Insurance is marked Coming Soon. Joining the early-access list requests future information only and does not create an insurance application, quote, recommendation, policy, payment, contract, or coverage. Availability will depend on country, eligibility, price, exclusions, coverage terms, and licensed-provider participation. Do not delay veterinary care while waiting for insurance information.
10. Availability
Some features depend on device hardware, operating-system version, Apple Intelligence availability, internet access, permissions, and third-party services. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain safety, compatibility, or legal compliance.
11. Your content
You retain rights in the photos, documents, and notes you add. You grant Amavio only the permission needed to process and display content for requested features. Partners grant Amavio a non-exclusive right to review, format, display, and distribute approved product and campaign content through Amavio while it remains approved. You are responsible for having all rights needed for content you add, submit, or export.
12. Intellectual property
The Amavio name, icon, interface, website, original graphics, text, and software are owned by Nawa Europe or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the applicable service.
13. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Amavio is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nawa Europe is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of or inability to use Amavio, including reliance on reminders, records, generated information, recommendations, seller destinations, or partner submissions. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.
15. Apple terms
If you download Amavio from Apple's App Store, your use is also subject to Apple's applicable terms. Apple is not responsible for Amavio's maintenance, support, or content except as required by applicable App Store terms.
